About us
Harnish Information Technology Group, LLC was incorporated in 2018 by Rodney Harnish. Rodney previously provided freelance IT computer services in St. Pete for several years.
Our mission in the beginning was to provide high quality tech services in the Tampa Bay area. We’ve since served other parts of Florida as well as clients in Texas, Arizona, North Carolina, New Mexico, California, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Idaho, Michigan and Oregon.

Founder / Managing Director
Rodney Harnish, CISSP
Rodney is a Florida native, cybersecurity expert and privacy advocate with over 13 years of experience. His specialty is enterprise security operations (see certifications). He performs much of HITG’s technical work and manages most other aspects of the business.
If you could use one word to describe him, it would be uncompromising. He won’t settle when it comes to project outcomes. He treats your equipment as if it were his own and expects perfection, every time.
